For The Foot Hunter

Hunt'em Up Kennels does not refund any deposits, on any of our German Shorthaired Pointers.  However, we will transfer the deposit to another German Shorthair Pointer of your choosing from our kennel.  Deposits will be voided after one year.

We will replace any of our German Shorthair Pointers, due to hip dysplasia or any genetic defect for the first 26 months of the German Shorthair Pointers life.  Hunt'em Up Kennels would need documentation of the hip dysplasia or any genetic defect from a certified veterinarian.  Hunt'em Up Kennels is not responsible for any costs associated with the findings of a genetic defect.  If a genetic defect is found, Hunt'em Up Kennels will replace your GSP with another GSP of equal value.  If you choose a GSP worth more than what the purchase price of your GSP was, you will be responsible for the remaining price of the chosen GSP.  We will take the GSP with the genetic defect back but all paperwork must be signed over to us.  If you choose to keep the GSP with the genetic defect, you must provide proof of euthanasia by a certified veterinarian or proof that the GSP has been spayed or neutered.  Transportation and/or cost of transportation of the replacement GSP and/or the GSP with the genetic defect will be your responsibility.

If we replace your German Shorthaired Pointer for any reason other than genetic defect it must be returned to Hunt'em Up Kennels in the same condition that it left our kennel.  It must be in good health and condition.  It also must be current on all of its vaccinations.  You also must sign all of the GSPs paperwork back over to Hunt'em Up Kennels.  When we get the German Shorthair Pointer back, we will evaluate the dog.  Your purchase price for that dog, will be applied to, an equal or greater, German Shorthair Pointer from Hunt'em Up Kennels.  You will be responsible for all transportation and/or the costs of transportation for the returned GSP and the replacement GSP.

Stud fees are paid in full when you drop off your German Shorthair Pointer.  If your Shorthair does not take the first time, you can bring her back a second time.  If she still does not take, you need to have her checked out.  Brucellosis test required on all German Shorthaired Pointers.
